The way the cookie crumbles.

Today I did a fair amount. I did the usual getting up, breakfast, meds, showered and dressed, before a short Bible study. Then I went out for lunch, complained to a manager about really awful service there yesterday and went for a short walk to get a butternut squash to make soup out of. I came home, made dinner and soup for tomorrow. While that was cooking I took some pretty great photos. I've been waiting for the light to be just right before attempting these. Wide aperture of some grass seeds just about to turn. I can't wait to see the results!

I got a text from my friend during this. She has ME. Today she went to make a cup of tea and collapsed in the kitchen, thankfully before she'd poured the water out. She crawled into the living room, there's nobody at home with her during the day so she had to do it herself. She's now lying on the floor trying to get the energy to reach for the remote so she can at least put on the TV.

The only things that have happened to me today included a few swollen joints and a little more rashes than usual.

My friend has been set back at least 6 months by this happening to her today.

Sometimes it's just not fair.
